Would you throw a perfectly good TV in a dumpster because you are fed up with what is on it!

On the other hand, why would you keep a perfectly good TV if there was nothing worth watching on it? Why not just go for a walk, or an uphill run?

I get Backwood's analogy but it's a bit slanted--I mean, why not ask,"Would you turn off a perfectly good TV because you're fed up with bad programming?"

Or better still:"Would you throw away a perfectly good diaper just because it was full of shit?"

If someone is hungry, really hungry--they'll eat whatever you have. It's not really a question of if you happen to have what they're hungry for. Hunger is a force that doesn't concern itself with the decoration of flavor--if you're really hungry, you'll slurp anything off the floor.
The question is, is what you DO have to offer of any significant nutritional value? If it's not, don't blame a hungry person's stubborn taste buds when they go looking for another buffet--blame your kitchen.

Now I'm hungry for some TV dinner.

Feel ya? Like a 10 mile jaunt uphill in 110% humidity. Would you throw a perfectly good TV in a dumpster because you are fed up with what is on it! You feel me?

Good line regarding the skinny kids Backwoods Boy. You feel me though, right? The hunger has me pursuing other options... and clearly we will see where it takes the crew. Thank you all for the comments.

If someone is going to feed someone, they need to have something for them to eat! I cannot feed someone something that I do not have. Although, I am willing to feed them but I just do not have what they hunger after. WHAT TO DO? Well....How hungry are YOU? The level of your hunger will determine the pace of you searching to be fed. Mediocrity and status quo have skinny kids. Get FED kinda like Just do it!

Backwoods boy sounds off!

It is refreshing to find other like minded people. The choice to spend your time "growing" with our family is not one you will regret. The key is keeping your faith present each and everyday because Faith is not just for Sundays anymore.

This is your best post yet. I'm inspired. I struggle with my own faith. Not in a I-don't-need-it way but rather in a I'm-not-sure-I've-found-a-shoe-that-fits-me-quite-right way. I appreciate the pause this gives me.
