TED 2009 Reprised in 21 Slides

My Version of Homo Evolutis - completely original? NO?

My Version of Homo Evolutis - completely original? NO?

Impossible as it may sound, here is a version of TED 2009 if you only had one hour to spark conversation and were recapping it to a creative bunch of people who wanted to hear about the highlights – but lacked the 4 days to recreate the event. By the way…I would have liked to discuss more and more of the content and the people that I met there but we’ll save those discussions as we move along through the year, and keep them personal and offline. Anymore content you need go to TED.com for the official skinny.

Bill Gates, Mosquitos, Education – TED

Bill Gates Releases Mosquitos @ TED

Bill Gates Releases Mosquitos @ TED

Bill Gates recently finished speaking at TED about Malaria and Education, and I loved his style of presenting the information from a statistical point of view. Test the educators to determine the best in class and why we’re at it, release some mosquitos in the room. He was right, “Poor people shouldn’t be the only people who get to live with them.”

I found it slightly ironic that he was standing in front of the 1984 Mac the whole time.
